Why a Dog Park?

 

Dog owners are typically a large segment of most park users; As more and more people use a park, it tends to become safer and friendlier. Dogs Run Free is providing a privately funded dog park for the use of the general public. Other areas of Condon Park are allocated to children's playgrounds, little league, skateboarding, soccer fields or frisbee golf. Dog owners need a place to let their dogs play in Grass Valley and we are providing just that place. Tourists are traveling with their dogs more and more these days. Now they can come to Grass Valley and know it is a dog-friendly place where they can exercise their pet,  socialize with others and learn about Grass Valley's history.

Dogs Run Free is a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to providing a premier off leash dog park that is safe, clean and allows for healthy socialization of dogs and their humans
